Kim feels passionate about helping people reach a turning point and move towards greater freedom and joy.Â
She graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and served almost 9 years as an officer before transitioning into a defense contractor position supporting the space launch industry. With over 30 combined years, she extensively studied organizational dynamics and systems, practiced leadership, communication, and process improvement skills on a daily basis, and navigated through workplace challenges along the way.Â
Thanks to a mentor in one of her leadership training courses, Kim had the opportunity to experience life coaching. The collaborative and personalized support, and challenging accountability of her coaches helped Kim dare to follow her heart and transition her career to coaching in 2019.Â
While Kim is intimately familiar with grief, chronic illness, addictions, co-addictions, aging, mental health challenges, divorce, single parenting, and relationship curveballs, her expertise is helping individuals and couples quickly move from feeling “stuck” in their relationship to actively practicing healthy, joyful relationship habit patterns.Â
She serves clients from around the world virtually and meets clients in person in Orcutt and Solvang, CA. She also offers coaching as a contractor to individuals and groups at the Family Counseling and Trauma Healing Center in Solvang, CA.Â
